Installing Silently
Windows: Run the installer with
/Sto install without prompts:Mac: Use the
installercommand and specify the target InDesign folder:
Silent Activation & Deactivation
You can activate or deactivate plug-ins automatically when InDesign starts.
Silent Activation
Create a text file containing (in this order):
Save the file next to the plug-in files with this naming convention:
BarcodeMaker.serial
DataLinker.serial
PatternPack.serial
Plug-in file locations:
DataLinker →
/Plug-Ins/Teacup/DataLinkerBarcodeMaker & PatternPack →
/Plug-Ins/Teacup/Patterns and Barcodes
On startup, InDesign will activate the plug-in automatically if the file is valid.
Silent Deactivation
Create an empty file named after the plug-in with the suffix
.deactivate:BarcodeMaker.deactivate
DataLinker.deactivate
PatternPack.deactivate
Place it in the same folder as the plug-in files.
On startup, InDesign will deactivate the plug-in and delete the file.
Entering Proxy Information
If you’re behind a proxy:
In the activation dialog, click Activate Automatically.
In the password dialog, click Show Proxy Settings.
Enter your proxy IP, username, and password.
